The student-initiated TOK Retreat for DP1 took place near Khopoli. The Students had an opportunity to meet six village children. Their interviews gave an insight into the challenges faced by rural schools during the pandemic.
The students also taught the village children how to use certain apps such as Truecaller, Google pay, and Google maps. The afternoon was devoted to a fun-filled activity related to TOK.
The risk-taking students were thrilled to go kayaking, and the next day, they went on a waterfall hike. All in all, students enjoyed themselves thoroughly during the TOK / CAS retreat.
