As we begin tuning into the unit, our first line of inquiry focuses on exploring signs and symbols. Learners were introduced to a variety of signs and symbols, including road safety signs, traffic signals, national symbols of India, and symbols found in their everyday environment. Through engaging videos, they discovered the importance of these signs and how they communicate messages to us.
To deepen their understanding, learners participated in hands-on activities such as coloring a traffic light and discussing what each color represents—red for stop, yellow for wait, and green for go. These activities helped them connect the concept of signs and symbols to real-life situations, making learning both meaningful and interactive.
