D Y Patil International School, Worli was established in the year 2008 with a dream to deliver a quality education of international standards that would help students to gain a sense of personal accomplishment, self-confidence, and a lifelong love for learning. Cambridge Assessment & Grades
At DYPIS, a staged assessment is followed to an A Level by taking the AS qualification in one examination session (May/June of the first year), and the A2 assessment in a subsequent session (February/March of the second year). There will be regular weekly tests, progression tests, Formative Assessments & Summative Assessments to equip students for their board assessments.
Each subject that a learner takes at Cambridge AS & A Levels receives a separate grade. The Cambridge International A Level is reported on a grade scale from ‘A*’ (highest) to ‘E’ (minimum required performance level) and for Cambridge International AS Level, it runs from grade ‘A’ (highest) to ‘E’ (minimum required performance level).
AS & A levels Scholarship
The scholarship programme at D Y Patil International School, Worli is to motivate deserving students to continue to perform better and encourage them to get the best possible educational opportunity. It is offered to identify and promote young talents from within the school and from outside the school.
The school offers 2 scholarships.
One will be offered to the in-house student.
One will be offered to external candidates; this can be transferred to the in-house student at the discretion of the Management.
Process for obtaining Scholarship:
Step 1: Students to fill up the Scholarship form and submit the same to the admissions team along with the required documents as per the timeline.
Step 2: Shortlisted students will be asked to appear for a test in Mathematics, English and Reasoning test.
Step 3: Students will appear for a personal interview, which would be conducted by a panel. The panel will comprise of a member of the school as well as an educationist from outside the school.
Step 4: Based on the outcome of the test and interview as well as the academic, extracurricular activities, the scholarship will be awarded. Please refer to Scholarship conditions to know about the amount and other clauses.
Step 5: Scholarship offer will remain valid for 3 days; the winning student will have to accept the letter and also finish admission formalities within the stipulated time period.
