The “Back to Roots” event, conducted by teachers for our learners of EYP to Grade 5, was an engaging and insightful exploration of traditional knowledge and its evolution over time. Each grade showcased a unique aspect of our rich heritage, demonstrating the connection between past and present.

Grade 1 presented a model of traditional rainwater harvesting made from wooden blocks, emphasizing the importance of sustainable water conservation methods.

Grade 2 conducted yoga asanas, highlighting the role of mindfulness in maintaining physical and mental well-being.

Grade 3 displayed the process of fermenting food, comparing traditional and modern techniques used over time.

Grade 4 explored the evolution of modern banking and financial systems, tracing their roots back to early economic models.

Adding to the depth of the event, Hindi and Marathi teachers shared how values were passed down through generations using storytelling, reflecting on the role of oral traditions in shaping moral and cultural understanding.

The event successfully connected young learners with the wisdom of the past, fostering appreciation for traditional practices and their continued relevance in the modern world.
