As part of their CAS Initiative, students of Gr 11 painted carry bags using the traditional technique of Warli Art. These bags were distributed to an NGO in Barcelona (during the recent trip of Gr 11). The NGO looks after the needs of impoverished women and children (mainly migrants).

Community service program

As part of the secondary school community service program, students of Grade 9 have planned an English Enhancement Programme for students from our neighbouring schools (Janta Shikshan Sanstha and Adarsh Municipal School). Students have been involved in preparing lesson plans, teaching aids and related worksheets to enhance the language proficiency of students from these two schools. DYPIS students from Grade 9A and 9B go once a week to these schools to deliver this program. This endeavour will be for the entire first semester.
